We bought ours through Amazon and it didn't come with the cords. There was no way to reach out to the company and with already warm temps, we didn't want to hassle with returning it. We bought the cords and were able to finally get it installed. It took about 16 total hours to install.
The product itself works great. There is little explanation about the remote and the icons for the various modes are microscopic.
